Anlo chiefs to use Hogbetsotso to address education challenges

‘ Accra, Oct 26, GNA – The chiefs and people of the Anlo State have resolved to used this year’s celebration of the Hogbetsotso festival to focus on addressing challenges facing secular education in the area.

The chiefs and elders, from the 36 communities making the Anlo State, have at a meeting in Keta, prior to the festival, expressed concerns about the fallen standards of education in the area, and fashioned ways of addressing that disturbing development.

The Hogbetsotso that stalled for the last decade due to chieftaincy discord has been revived this year with a grand durbar scheduled to take place at the Anlo Hogbe Park ‘
