Ankaful nurses refuse to back down on strike

Striking nurses at the Ankaful Psychiatric Hospital say nothing short of the dismissal of their Medical Director, Dr. Eugene Dordoye will let them go back to work.

Dr. Dordoye Thursday issued a statement of apology to the Nurses after they went on strike and accused him of alleged misappropriation of funds, instances of conflict of interest and not respecting their rights.

The Minister of Health at the Meet the Press Series in Accra invited the nurses for dialogue on the matter.

Dr. Dordoye in his apology admitted going overboard sometimes.

However, the nurses say all they want is his dismissal.
