ANIDA donates 250 million cedis medical equipment to Koforidua Hospital

Koforidua, Feb. 11, GNA- The All Nations International Development Agency (ANIDA), a Non-Governmental Organisation, based in Canada on Thursday presented over 150 boxes of drugs and medical equipment valued at 250 million cedis to the Eastern Regional Hospital at Koforidua. The items comprised giving sets, cardio-vascular peri-curion drape, chest drainage set, walking clutches, blood solution set with pressure pump, sterilizing drum and horizon pump measure volume solution administration set.

Mr Emmanuel K. Oware, the Registrar of the All Nations University College (ANUC), who donated the items on behalf of ANIDA, said it was meant to improve on medical care at the hospital.

He said the donation was the fourth to be made by ANIDA to the Hospital.

Mr Oware said ANIDA, which is being sponsored by the All Nations Full Gospel Church in Toronto, Canada, is involved in a number of projects in the country, including the establishment of the ANUC child sponsorship programme for orphans and other vulnerable children. The Matron of the Hospital, Ms Gloria Caesar, who received the items, thanked ANIDA for the presentation.
