Three teachers have been hospitalized after they were attacked by some residents of Atrama in the Ashanti region.
Angry youth of the town unleashed violence on the teachers after a female student was whipped by a teacher for misconduct.
One of the teachers reportedly collapsed during the attack while the others were rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Starr News has also learnt that the school might be closed down as the teachers have left the community.
Agya Boakye, a management member of the school told Starr News that residents said they did not understand why the teacher whipped the student.
The teachers have filed a complaint with the Police in the area for investigations.
