Angelina Baiden-Amissah re-elected as NPP parliamentary candidate

Shama (W/R), July 27, GNA – The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has re-elected Mrs Angelina Baiden-Amissah, Member of Parliament for Shama, by acclamation to contest Election 2004 on the Party’s ticket.

She was the only candidate at the close of nominations. Mr Mac Mainoo, Western Regional Chairman of the NPP, who addressed the Delegates’ Conference, appealed to Party members to organise peaceful electoral campaigns and ignore provocations from political rivals.

Papa Owusu Ankomah, Attorney General and Minister of Justice, said the NPP Government was full of valuable ideas. Mrs Baiden-Amissah pledged to undertake more development projects during her tenure.
