Anas, 14 others honoured

Investigative Journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas and 14 other personalities have been awarded for their selfless contribution to the country’s development.

The awards were conferred on them at the fourth edition of the prestigious Millennium Excellence Awards at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Kumasi.

Asantehene Otumfou Osei Tutu II who doubles as life patron of the Millennium Excellence foundation asked Ghanaians to emulate the footsteps of the awardees.

“We don’t to only need to eulogise them but also emulate their indelible footprints of excellence.

“Our children should be able to take such personalities as their role models who can meaningfully influence their lives,” Otumfuo Osei Tutu II said.

The award which recognizes the contribution of outstanding personalities, who have distinguished themselves in various fields of endeavour is held every five years.
