American volunteer enstooled Nkosuohene

The chiefs and people of Adarkwa in the Suhum Municipality have enstooled an American volunteer, Mr John Romo, as the Nkosuohene for his contribution to the development of the community.

Mr Romo, a graduate of Agricultural Education, advised the youth to go into farming and see it as a profit making business and not as a job for the poor.

He gave the advice at a durbar of chiefs and people of Adarkwa for his enstoolment.

Mr Romo was posted to the Adarkwa Junior High School, under the 4H Ghana School Gardening Project, to teach Life Skills and Modern Agricultural Practices.

4H Ghana is a Non-Governmental Organization, which seeks to encourage students to develop interest in farming to grow to become future agricultural business men and women.

Mr Romo expressed his gratitude to the management of the school, the PTA, the chief and his elders and the entire community for their support and the honour done him.
