Ambassador Mantey Meets Gen-Director Zavgayev

Ghana?s Ambassador (H.E.) Edward Apau Mantey held diplomatic talks behind closed doors with the General Director of the Foreign Ministry of the Russian Federation Mr Doku Zavgayev in Moscow. According to sources at the Russian Ministry, the two sides during the talks examined ways of forging an increased political and economic cooperation between the two countries. The Russian side noted that Ghana could gain from emerging economic opportunities.

Ghana has been struggling with efforts to drive Russian investors into the country. Russia has given great value to developing mutual relations with Ghana through an effective political dialogue. Sources also said Russia and Ghana were in search for new forms of mutually advantageous cooperation.

Ambassador Mantey received congratulatory message on the occasion of African Union Day which was May 25, – the day he met with Mr Zavgayev.
