Amansie Association in Holland present items to hospitals

Bekwai (Ash), Aug 10, GNA – The Amansie Association based in Holland last Friday presented 100 mattresses worth 60 million cedis to the Bekwai Government Hospital and the Saint Michael’s Hospital at Pramso, all in the Ashanti Region.

Presenting the mattresses at the Bekwai Hospital, Mr Steve Osei-Wusu, President, pledged the Association’s determination to share a little of everything it got with the sick.

He also pledged that the association would adopt a ward at the Bekwai Hospital and increase its contribution to support health delivery and called on Amansie citizens living in other parts of Holland to join the Association.

Dr Nana Yaw Manu, Medical Superintendent at the Hospital expressed appreciation to the Association for its kind gesture, noting that the hospital had received a lot of donations from various Amansie citizens outside the country over the years.

He asked Amansie citizens in other countries to support the Hospital so that it could reach out to all parts of the district.
