Amaarae announces ‘Black Star Experience’ tour

Ghanaian singer and global alternative music sensation Amaarae has announced her upcoming tour, titled ‘The Black Star Experience,’ set to take fans on a journey across four major cities.

The tour will make stops in New York City, Toronto, Washington D.C., and Los Angeles, with an Accra date to be announced soon.

Describing the tour as a cultural homecoming, Amaarae shared that The Black Star Experience is built around the idea of reconnecting audiences with her origins while celebrating the fusion of sounds, influences, and communities that shape her music.

“This whole world we’ve built has been about taking you all back to my roots,” she said. “Being able to share my culture with you all and infuse it with other sounds and cultures that inspire me too.”

She noted that the tour reflects a melting pot of energy, identity, and artistry  one that mirrors the diverse global fanbase she refers to as her “Black Stars.” According to Amaarae, this community is strengthened by shared creativity, expression, and freedom.

The singer also revealed her excitement about performing her current album live, calling it her favorite project to bring to the stage. In true Amaarae fashion, fans are being encouraged to arrive in full black outfits to fully embody the theme and atmosphere of the show.

“Need everybody IN ALL BLACK. We’re gonna rage, kiss, and love each other!” she added.

Tickets for The Black Star Experience are now on sale, and anticipation continues to build as fans await the official announcement of the Accra show a moment many believe will be the emotional centerpiece of the entire experience.
