Public Relations Officer of the Accra Metropolitan Assembly (AMA), Numo Blafo has stridently denied knowledge of any calendar being circulated around by his outfit.
Numo Blafo expressed shock when host of Peace FM’s Morning Show, Kwami Sefa Kayi, alerted him about a certain calendar which has suddenly cropped up in the media purported to have been printed by the AMA.
The calendar which bears the achievements of the AMA is said to have also included the Administration Block of Achimota School as part of the major feats chalked by the AMA, under the leadership of Mr. Alfred Oko Vanderpuiye, AMA Boss.
As ridiculous as it appeared to the host and some political discussants on the programme, the AMA Spokesperson indicated with caution that his outfit has not come out with any calendar, let alone toot its own horn.
“The AMA has not printed any calendar this year and so, I cannot tell where the person got it from. I’m even shocked by what you’re telling me now because we’re rather setting up a dormitory at the Achimota School, and it’s even at the foundation level. As for the administration block; it has been in existence way back, even before I was born,” he told Kwami Sefa Kayi.
