AMA appoints Gilbert Ankrah as Head of Public Affairs

The Accra Metropolitan Assembly has appointed Mr Gilbert Nii Ankrah as the Head of the Assembly’s Public Affairs Department.

He takes over from Numo Blafo III who has been reassigned by the Ministry of Information.

This was announced in a statement signed by Mr Sam Ayeh-Datey, the Metro Coordinating Director and copied to the Ghana News Agency on Tuesday.
It said Mr Gilbert Nii Ankrah has over ten years experience in journalism and public relations.

The statement said he joined the Information Services Department (ISD) as a journalist in 2007 and until his appointment, was the Parliamentary Correspondent for the ISD.

The statement expressed gratitude to all stakeholders for their continuous support to the Assembly.
