All is set for this year’s Gadangme International(GDI) Annual Conference under the theme ‘Reawakening the GaDangme
Consciousness.
The Annual Conference brings together all Gadangmes all over the world to deliberate on issues affecting the Ga state and
Ghana as a whole.
The conference which wil be held on the 29th of May 2010 at the International Gospel Assembly in Brox, New York has the
Mayor of Accra, Honourable Alfred Vanderpuije, Nene Atsure Benta, Mankralo of the Prampram Traditional Area and Nii Moi
Adotei, Sempe Mantse as speakers of the conference.
A Gala Fundraising dance is also slated as part of the conference to raise funds for development projects in Ghana.
The Interim Chairman of the GDI, Dr Benjamin Dodoo has called all Gadangbes to make it a point to attend so as to help make Ghana a better place to live. For him, the development of the Ga State and Ghana should be on the agenda of every Ghanaian living in Ghana and abroad.
He is of the hope that when we call come together to build the Ga State and the country, we would always be hopeful about the future of the Ga State and Ghana.
‘The Ga State and Ghana is our home, we must build it, he added.
