All houses at Adum in Kumasi to be repainted

Kumasi, Aug. 21, GNA – The Kumasi Metropolitan Assembly (KMA) has directed all landlords and ladies who have their buildings within the Adum catchment area to rehabilitate and repaint them to reinforce the key status of Adum as a vibrant hub of business, trade and industry. According to a release issued and signed by Mrs Jemima Asare, the Public Relations Officer of the KMA in Kumasi on Monday, the directive to beautify Adum is in anticipation of the influx of visitors that might throng the city as a result of two impending landmark events such as, the Ghana jubilee celebration and the CAN 2008.

“Adum is the first point of call for any visitor or tourist to the metropolis. It therefore behoves on all of us to ensure that the environment of Adum is pleasant and conducive for visitors”, the release said.
