As the Holy occasion of Ramadan is here, I extend my profound gratitude to all Muslim communities here in Ghana and around the world.
Muslims during this month are enjoined to fast and devote themselves totally to the will and submission of Allah. It is also a time for thoughtful reflection, righteousness, compassion, forgiveness and the show of love among one another.
It is therefore binding on all Muslims to be mindful of these virtues that will draw them closer to Allah and also to help shape society. I wish all Muslims good fortune and abounding happiness as they embark on this spiritual exercise. Ramadan Kareem!
