Akyempim Rural Bank to retrieve loans

Gomoa-Dawurampong (C/R), May 21, GNA – The management of the Akyempim Rural Bank with its headquarters at Gomoa-Dawurampong in the Central Region has embarked on an intensive loans retrieval programme to ensure effective settlement of loans owed by its customers.

Mr Jacob Wellington Assan, Supervising Manager of the Bank told the Ghana News Agency in an interview at Gomoa-Dawurampong at the weekend that a 10-member task force had been formed under his supervision to implement the programme.

He said the task force would counsel customers who had benefited from various credit scheme introduced by the bank to make it easier for them to repay the loans.

Mr Assan, however, reminded recalcitrant defaulters to make moves to repay the loans.

He said the bank was prepared to grant reliable customers additional loans to promote their businesses and advised those who had not been able to redeem their debts to do so to pave the way for more financial support from the bank.
