Mr Tom Budu, Akyemansa District Chief Executive (DCE) has expressed delight about the ongoing construction of the road from Ofoase to Chia.
This, he said is fulfilment of government’s promise, during President John Dramani Mahama’s State of the Nation address.
He told Ghana News Agency in an interview at Akim Ofoase in the Eastern Region that the assembly is tarring the road and called on stakeholders to facilitate the process.
In another development, the DCE, has appealed to the Ministry of Health for the construction of a district hospital and asked the chiefs and elders to provide land for the project.
Mr Budu said the project would enhance quality health service delivery in the area to contribute their quota to the project.
