Akyem Asamama residents appeal to District Assembly to renovate school

Akim Asamama (E/R), Jan. 6, GNA – Residents of Akyem Asamama in the Atiwa District have appealed to the District Assembly to rehabilitate the six-unit classroom block, office and store of the local Presbyterian Primary School. Mr Paul Danso, an opinion leader, told the GNA that the present deplorable nature of the building was not conducive to effective teaching and learning. He said anytime it threatened to rain classes had to be abandoned to avert any disaster. Mr Danso said the rehabilitation exercise should include re-cementing, re-roofing, re-painting as well as provision of furniture.
