Akwatia Declares Total Support for Akufo-Addo and NPP

Residents of Akwatia and its environs on Tuesday assured Nana Akufo-Addo of their total support and commitment to a New Patriotic Party victory in the 2012 elections.

Thousands of people mobbed Nana Addo and the NPP parliamentary candidate for Akwatia, Dr Kofi Asare, as they moved through the various communities with Nana Akufo-Addo’s message of hope.

Residents of Kusi, promised to work hard to ensure that Nana Addo wins 80% of the votes in December, in the town.

At Takorase, Nana Kofi, 45, remarked “Nana you don’t have to campaign here. Just go to your next destination because we will vote massively for you here no matter what.”

Agyeiwaa, a 27 year old lady said they didn’t want an MP who will ask them to call a goat a cow. “We want honest leadership and not one that is full of propaganda” she said.

Nana Addo also took his tour of the Akwatia constituency to communities such as Wenchi, Okumaning, Apramang, Dwenase and Boadua.

Addressing the people of Boadua to round up his hope tour of the Eastern region, Nana Addo thanked the entire region for the love and support they continue to show him.
