Akufo-Addo’s ‘real SONA’ “stale propaganda” – NDC

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has as described as “genetic, stale and pedestrian propaganda” Nana Akufo-Addo’s reaction to President John Mahama’s State of the Nation Address delivered in parliament last Thursday.

According to the party, the aim of the former attorney general is to deceive Ghanaians into voting for him come November.

Akufo-Addo in his counter state of the nation address Monday shot down the achievements of the Mahama-led administration describing them as a pack of lies. He also accused the President of making a mockery of the address in parliament by bringing in the supposed beneficiaries of his social interventions.

Speaking at a press briefing Tuesday, the general secretary of the ruling party Johnson Asiedu Nketia said the NPP flagbearer only criticised the President without giving any viable alternatives on how the challenges facing the country could be solved.
