Akufo-Addo’s boys attack Alan Cash

As the dust settles on the 8-month trial of the 2012 presidential ticket of the NPP, there seem to be a sharp division emerging from the largest Opposition party.

Last Thursday, after the Supreme Court had dismissed the election petition before it, attempts by Alan Kyerematen, a stalwart of the NPP, to visit the residence of Nana Akufo-Addo was fiercely resisted by close associates and security persons at the residence of the NPP flagbearer.

But for the intervention of the police presence at the place of incident, Mr. Kyerematen, who is widely tipped to lead the party in 2016, would have been physically attacked.

Information making rounds in the NPP is that Alan Cash, as he is popularly known, was prevented on countless occasions from providing support to and advise to Akufo-Addo during the 2012 electioneering campaign.

The latest incident, our investigations revealed, was masterminded by a Director of Operations of Akufo-Addo’s campaign.
