Akufo-Addo’s aide invokes death curse on Tarzan

Mustapha Hamid, a former Aide to the 2012 presidential candidate of the main opposition New Patriotic Party, has invoked curses on founder-member of his party, Dr. Charles Wereko-Brobbey for alleging that he (Mustapha Hamid) has fathered so many bastards.

Dr. Wereko-Brobbey made the allegation on private radio station Asempa FM on Monday June 3, 2013 when he was interviewed about his purported suspension from the party for describing the NPP’s 2012 Vice Presidential Candidate, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, as a confused and clueless witness in the ongoing election petition case.

Mustapha Hamid, a Lecturer at the Department of Religion and Human Values at the University of Cape Coast, wrote a rejoinder to counter an earlier letter written by Dr. Wereko-Brobbey in which he (Wereko-Brobbey) expressed disappointment with Dr. Bawumia’s performance as the key witness in the case.

Reacting to Mustapha Hamid’s rejoinder during his interview, Dr. Wereko-Brobbey cast aspersions against the person of Mustapha Hamid with an allegation that the Islamic Lecturer had neglected many of the children he had outside marriage.

The allegation prompted Mustapha Hamid to call into the programme to exact his pound of flesh.

After denying fathering bastards and clarifying that he had all his five children within the marital settings of the Islamic religion, Mustapha Hamid then angrily rained curses on both his own person and Dr. Wereko-Brobbey.

He said whichever one of them is telling lies should be killed by Almighty Allah, stressing that he will not allow Dr. Wereko-Brobbey to malign his person because of politics.
