The NDC Central Regional Chairman, Allotey Jacobs has described the number of Ministerial appointees in the Nana Addo administration as ‘Wo nky3 ndi Incorporated’, to wit “share and enjoy” for party members.
Addressing the issue on Peace FM’s ‘Kokrokoo’ programme, Allotey Jacobs noted that the President decided to have the highest number of Ministers and deputies in order to favour his cronies and loyalists.
He explained that because of the roles that the appointees played in the party which led to the victory of the party, Nana Addo was compelled to return their service by placing them in ministerial offices.
President Nana Akufo-Addo has recorded the highest number of Minister together with their deputies.
The number which totals to 110 is the highest ever in Ghana’s history.
The President has come under an avalanche of criticisms but he has however justified his appointments, stressing that looking at the huge task ahead of the government to develop the economy; there’s the need for such numerous hands to work to accomplish his vision.
But Allotey Jacobs will have none of that as he insistently told host Kwami Sefa Kayi that the President’s ministerial appointments are somehow a smooth ride given to the party faithfuls.
