Akufo-Addo will bus delegates on Saturday – Sir John

The camp of Nana Akufo-Addo will bus delegates to polling centers to vote in the October 18 presidential primaries, according to a former General Secretary of the NPP, Kwadwo Owusu Afriyie.

“I assure delegates, they must not worry; Nana Akufo-Addo will send buses to their vicinities to carry them to polling centers so they can vote,” Owusu Afriyie, an avowed supporter of the two-time flagbearer told Adom FM on Thursday.

He said the intention of the former foreign affairs minister is to obtain a resounding victory on Saturday to send a clear signal to the ruling National Democratic Congress.

Over 140,000 delegates of the party will vote during the primaries to choose a presidential candidate for the 2016 elections.

Two-time flagbearer of the party, Nana Akufo-Addo is battling a former Minister of Trade and Industries Alan Kyerematen and MP Francis Addai Nimoh for the position.
