Akufo-Addo was not expelled- Oxford University

Oxford University has stated in a letter received by GhanaWeb that the NPP flagbearer, Nana Akufo-Addo, was not expelled from the institution after he enrolled in the 1962/63 academic year.

The letter was a reply to a request made on the circumstances surrounding Nana Addo’s move from the prestigious university.

Professor Ewan McKendrick, the Registrar of Oxford University, however declined to comment on the course that the NPP flagbearer followed because “I do not believe that the disclosure of the course he followed at Oxford is necessary to satisfy that public interest”.
