Akufo-Addo visits Volta region today

The President Akufo-Addo is expected to visit the Volta region today, May 13, 2017.

His visit is part of an arrangement by government where the President every month is billed to spend a weekend at a particular region and interact with citizens.

Communication from the Regional branch of the governing party said the President will first join the students and authorities of Mafe Kumasi Secondary-Technical School for their Speech and Prize Giving Day, and later proceed to the regional capital-Ho, where he will visit key institutions.

The Volta Regional NPP Deputy Director of Communications, Enoch Amegbletor said the President will crown his two-day visit with a mini rally on Sunday.

Ahead of the President’s first official visit to the Volta region after the elections, residents have called on him to ensure that strategic projects initiated by the previous administration are completed for them.
