Akufo-Addo tours registration centres in Nsawam

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, 2012 presidential candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has called on party officials and agents at the registration centers to be vigilant.

He made the call at Nsawam after visiting some registration centers in the Nsawam-Adoagyiri Municipality as part of his nation-wide tour of registration centres to monitor the on-going limited registration exercise by the Electoral Commission.

Nana Akufo-Addo said the NPP was putting things in order to assume governance of the country after the 2016 elections.

He said his priority would be education and would ensure the full implementation of free education and, therefore, appealed to parents to encourage their 18 year old children to register in their numbers.

Some of the registration centers Nana Akufo-Addo visited within the municipality are Gyankrom, Adoagyiri, Nsawam Central, Yaw Wereko Presby B, Adukorkor and Asikafo Amantem.
