Akufo-Addo resumes campaign

Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo would, on Monday, September 8, begin the second phase of his campaign to seek the mandate of delegates of the New Patriotic Party ahead of the October 18 presidential primary.

A statement issued in Accra on Tuesday by his Spokesperson, Mustapha Abdul-Hamid said Nana Akufo-Addo would embark on a 10-day tour of the country to thank delegates for the resounding victory they gave him on Sunday, August 31, at the Special Electoral College.

The two-time flagbearer of the NPP, who posted an overwhelming 80.81% endorsement of his candidature by the delegates.

He would start his tour in Wa in Upper West Region on Monday, with the team moving to the Upper East regional capital, Bolgatanga, on Tuesday.

Nana Akufo-Addo, on Wednesday, September 10, would meet the delegates from the Northern Region in the regional capital, Tamale.
