Akufo-Addo pays tribute to Bawumia’s late aide

Flagbearer of the opposition New Patriotic Party, Nana Addo Dankwa Aufo-Addo has described the loss of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s press aide Kwabena Boadu as one that has saddened the rank and file of the party.

The NPP flagbearer in a twitter post on Friday said he had been saddened by the loss of such an ‘intelligent young man with a bright future’.

Kwabena Boadu was found dead in his hotel room in Wa Thursday morning after a campaign event by the party.

He is said to have been pronounced dead on arrival at the Wa regional hospital after he was found lying motionless in the bath.

Kwabena Boadu was part of a travelling contingent of the party’s campaign team that had toured the Volta, Eastern, Northern, Upper East and Upper West regions.
