Akufo-Addo not corrupt – Kan Dapaah

Three-time flagbearer of Ghana’s biggest opposition party is not corrupt, party member Albert Kan-Dapaah, has said. According to him, Nana Akufo-Addo is morally upright.

Mr Kan-Dapaah, a former Energy Minister in the Kufuor administration told Class91.3fm’s Executive Breakfast Show host Ekow Mensah-Shalders on Tuesday December 15, 2015, that Mr Akufo-Addo is a principled man and having worked with him for many years, he has “no reason to believe that he can be corrupt”.

Kan Dapaah, who works with the Centre for Public Accountability (CPA) at the University of Professional Studies, Accra, said he could attest to the former Attorney General’s integrity because he was his protégé.

“I’m one of his number one disciples not because I belong to his party but I have worked with him, he coached me a lot,” he stated.

The 2016 polls is Mr Akufo-Addo’s third attempt at winning the presidency after failing in 2008 and 2012.
