Akufo-Addo interacts with Ghanaians in Mali

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has met with Ghanaian residents in Mali after he participated in the France –Africa Summit.

Nana Addo was given a rousing welcome by the charged crowd who sang the national anthem and expressed their joy that the president has interacted with them.

Nana Addo used the opportunity to thank Ghanaians based in Mali for their contribution to the development of the country.

He charged the crowd to come back home and invest in the country since Ghana was now open for business again.

The summit was aimed at enhancing the integration process, collective action and cooperation for the common good of participating countries and their people.

The summit brought together Heads of state and Governments from some 30 countries.

The visit was the first official visit embarked by the Ghanaian leader after he was officially sworn into office last week.

He was accompanied by the First Lady, Mrs. Rebecca Akufo-Addo. Nana Addo also met and interacted with Ghanaian service commanders in the country.

In addition, he held a meeting with Malian President Ibrahim Boubacar Keita in a bid to boost relation between Accra and Bamako.
