Akufo-Addo has failed twice, give Alan the chance – Aide

As the New Patriotic Party makes preparation towards the 2016 general elections, it is clear their main aim is to recapture power from the ruling National Democratic Congress.

They are being driven by a win-win mentality and for this reason can’t afford to watch the NDC sweep all the vital electoral votes to beat them again.

It is on this score that Philip Longdon has called on NPP delegates to vote Mr. Alan Kyeremanten as their next flagbearer. After two unsuccessful bids in the past, the current campaign adds up to Mr. Kyeremanten’s third aspiration to land the flagbearership position.

Speaking to Okay FM, Mr. Longdon, an Aide to Alan Kyeremanten disclosed that the flagbearer aspirant is currently in the country to lay a solid foundation for his campaign. He added that if the party had given Nana Addo two great opportunities to be president and he has failed to take advantage of that, it would be prudent to give Alan an equal chance.

Mr. Longdon is optimistic Mr. Kyeremanten would end up leading the NPP into victory if the delegates endorse his candidature over Nana Akufo Addo.
