Akufo-Addo dares Robert Dodoo – He can go to court

The Evening News reports that the Minister of Justice and Attorney-General, Nana Akufo-Addo said on Tuesday that Dr Robert Dodoo, Head of the Civil Service has no business being at post.

He said if Dr Dodoo does not understand why President Kufuor asked him to proceed on leave and hand over to his Chief Director, “he can go and chest it out at the law court.”

Nana Akufo-Addo in an interview with the paper said he fully supports the directive issued by President Kufuor adding that, “if Dr Dodoo wishes to challenge the President, the law court is there for everybody to seek redress.”

He said Dr Dodoo was contracted for two years by the former government of the National Democratic Congress, which refused to renew his contract after last two years. Technically, therefore, he was at post without any legal basis.
