The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo, has congratulated the vice presidential nominee of the Progressive People’s Party (PPP) Brigitte Dzorgbenuku on her nomination.
The flagbearer of the PPP, Dr Papa Kwesi Nduom, on Thursday August 4 named the former beauty queen as his running mate for the 2016 general elections.
Ms Dzorgbenuku is a founder and Executive Director of Mentoring Women Ghana, an NGO.
She is also a former General Manager of the Aviation Social Centre, a fitness and recreational centre.
Ms Dzorgbenuku has been in the fitness industry for more than a decade. She established Recreational Facilities Management Company, which manages various leisure, fitness and sports facilities in the capital.
Nana Akufo-Addo tweeted: “(1) Congratulations to Brigette Dzogbenuku on her selection as running mate to @pknduom of the PPP.”
