Akufo-Addo conducts Nigeria Military band

President Nana Akufo-Addo, aside his “swaggish” way of talking and occasional dancing skills, may also have an ear for music. He demonstrated this when he showcased his conducting prowess during his visit to Nigeria Tuesday August 1.

President Akufo-Addo is seen in a video, conducting the Nigerian Military band with his baton during the visit.

He left the country Tuesday morning on an official visit following an invitation by the Acting President of Nigeria Prof. Yemi Osinbajo as a special guest of honour for the graduation ceremony of Nigeria’s National Defense College.

President Akufo-Addo receieved a rousing welcome from Mr. Osinbajo on arrival at the Presidential Villa.

This will be the second time in a month the President has visited Abuja.

Osinbajo has taken over the running of Nigeria in the absence of current Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari who has been away for over two months in London, seeking treatment for a mystery ailment.
