The flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo has announced that he is beginning his tour of the Eastern Region today Wednesday, 29 June 2016, as part of his campaign activities ahead of this year’s elections.
He has already toured the Volta, Greater Accra and Central regions where he interacted with the people of Ghana on what he intends doing when elected as president. He is expected to tour a total of 19 constituencies in the region within the five days.
“I’m beginning a 5-day tour of the Eastern Region from today. I’ll tour a total of 19 constituencies within the period”, Mr Akufo-Addo announced through twitter.
