Akufo-Addo, Bawumia recieve ‘massive’ welcome at Central mosque

An overwhelming barrage of cheers flooded the atmosphere as President-elect Nana Akufo-Addo accompanied by his Vice, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumiah finally arrived at the Abossey Okai Central mosque in Accra for the Muslim thanksgiving service.

Nana Akufo-Addo and party executives are visiting the National mosque in Accra today to offer prayers following a complete victory in the general elections.

Prayers are being offered led by the Chief Imam Dr. Nuhu Sharubutu at the service.

The President-elect will continue his victory celebration at an inter-dominational thanksgiving scheduled for Sunday December 17, 2016. The service themed: “Psalm 20 vs 5 will be held at the Accra Sports Stadium.
