Deputy General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC), Koku Anyidoho has called on the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) presidential candidate and his running mate, Nana Addo Dankwah Akufo- Addo and Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia respectively, to apologize to Ghanaians for hiring somebody to act as a spokesperson for the opposition Togolese party leader, who claimed what the party has in custody as an authentic copy of the Electoral Commission (EC) copy was used for their elections.
According to him, the NPP has no good conscience because the more they try to tell lies the more they are exposed.
He indicated that the decision taken by the EC is the best way to totally ban double and triple registration that the NPP leaders with its party members have adopted and trained themselves within the Ashanti Region.
“They took this format because they taught the EC would use the old system of voting for the 2016 elections, that was why they registered one person two or three times.
“…the NPP are always blaming EC to open new registration for the reason that persons in the Ashanti Region have increased which is never true, but because they want to maneuver their way to again engage in double and triple registration,” he said.
The Deputy General Secretary added that the NPP are in hot waters because their stronghold have been rated as the highest number and region of double registration.
