The Abuakwa South Constituency branch of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has debunked claims that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo had no record to show when he served the area in the legislature.

Mr Okyere said Nana Akufo Addo also provided scholarships for the needy but brilliant school children in the constituency and helped in the extension of electricity to more than 19 communities including Okanta, Aposs, Kwasi Komfo, Potrase, Akwadum, Ntaabea and Bomponso.

“It is important that we set the records straight and touch on issues that are relevant and will bring progress and development to our nation and stop attempt to dent the hard won reputation of the next president of our country” the release said.

Mr Okyere said the indigenes of the two Abuakwa constituencies, North and South had fully pledged their support for the flag bearer of the NPP and called on the NDC and its communicators to concentrate on how to fix the broken economy of the country and solve the high standard of living Ghanaians were going through and leave Nana Akufo Addo alone.
