Akuffo Addo begins tour of Eastern Region

Koforidua, July 4, GNA – Nana Addo-Danquah Akuffo Addo, the Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), has began a 10-day campaign tour of the Eastern Region to familiarise himself with the people.

The tour is part of a nationwide campaign programme to enable the NPP to consolidate the concerns of the people from all the regions into their manifesto for the 2012 campaign.

A source from the Regional Secretariat of the Party told the GNA that Nana Akuffo Addo would be meeting people at the grassroots and to listen to their concerns on national issues, to enable him come out with a campaign message that would give hope to the people.

The tour which is dubbed 93listening campaign tour” is to afford the flag bearer the opportunity also to interact with the ordinary people apart from party faithful, to sell the ideas and vision that he would pursue when given the nod in the 2012 elections.

Nana Akuffo-Addo who is billed to visit all the 27 constituencies in the region had so far visited Abetifi, Nkawkaw and Mpraeso to interact with the people at the grassroots. 4 July 11
