Akuapem Obosomase installs Nkosuohene

A United States surgeon, known in private life as Dr Kevin Clarke, has been installed as the Nkosuohene of Akuapem Obosomase in the Eastern Region.

Dr Clarke, who works with the Newark Beth Israel Medical Center in the United States, will now be known as Nana Ayeh I.

To begin his role as a chief with oversight responsibility for the development of Obosomase, a durbar was held in his honour at which he swore the oath of allegiance to the Obosoasehene, Nana Okofo Ayeh Bekoe I,

In his maiden address to the people of Obosomase, he pledged to assist the town in its development efforts, particularly in preserving the environment.
