Akim Juaso CAC initiates projects

Akim Juaso(E/R), Dec. 24, GNA – Akim Juaso Christ Apostolic Church (CAC) is putting up a church building estimated at 80 million cedis under a three-year programme.

The Senior Elder of the church, Mr Alexander Asare made this known to Ghana News Agency at Akim Juaso at a visit to the site to see the progress of work.

Mr Asare said the work started two years ago and an amount of 20.2 million cedis has so far been spent on the project. He said the communal labour is being offered by the church members and the work has reached the lintel level as the work is progressing steadily.

Mr Asare said the church organizes harvests twice a year to raise funds in addition to voluntary contributions of 100,000 cedis a man and 50,000 cedis a woman from members of the church to support the project.

He said the church has in mind the construction of a two-unit block, office and store for K.G to cater for the increasing number of children in the area after the church project.
