Akim Asamamah PTA to renovate school building

Akim Asamamah,(E/R), Oct.6, GNA – The Parents Teacher Association (PTA) of the Akim Asamamah, Presbyterian Primary School, in the Atiwa District, has pledged to renovate the school at the cost of 150 million cedis.

The PTA Chairman, Mr. Daniel Amoah who announced this to the Ghana News Agency, at Akim Asamamah, at the end of an Executive Meeting of the Association, said the project, consisted of the renovation of the six- unit classroom block, office and store and a three-unit block for Kindergarten.

Mr. Amoah said a plan to extend electricity to the school was on course.

The PTA Chairman said the project would be financed through a levy of 20,000 cedis per parent and other fund-raising activities.
