Akim Asamamah Presby PTA undertakes renovation of school

Akim Asamamah (E/R), June 23, GNA- The Parents Teacher Association (PTA) of Akim Asamamah Presby Primary School, has committed over 12 million cedis towards the renovation of a six-unit classroom block and library of the school.

The PTA Chairman, Mr Daniel Kwasi Amoah told the Ghana News Agency at Akim Asamamah in the Atiwa District of the Eastern Region, that the school, which was built several decades ago, had not been renovated before. He said the project would include the provision of furniture, re-gravelling of the playground and the extension of electricity to the school to facilitate night classes.

Mr Amoah said each pupil would pay 10,000 cedis to raise money for the project.
