Akim Adasewase residents appeal for rehabilitation of road

Osino, July 25, GNA – Residents of Akim Adasewase near Akim Anyinam, have appealed to government to rehabilitate a road from Akim Anyinam to Akim Adasewase, a distance of about 4.5km.

The Chief of the community, Osabarima Kwame Tia II, made the appeal through the Ghana News Agency at Adasewase on Saturday when newsmen paid a courtesy call on him at his palace.

He said re-surfacing and re-shaping works on the road had come to a halt.

The chief indicated that the road is in such a deplorable state that a few drivers plying the route from Anyinam to Adasewase had resorted to charging high fares

Osabarima Tia II said, whenever it rains, drivers parked their vehicles which makes many commuters to be stranded.

He said the place has tourist attraction that could be developed to generate income for the government.
