The Ajumako Ochiso Methodist Church under the Cape Coast Diocese has commissioned an ultra-modern Mission House, referred to as Manse at a cost of GHc 100,000.00,excluding furniture to accommodate Ministers of the Church who are posted to the town.
Started in 2003 after the foundation stone was laid by its then Minister, now Chaplain of the Ghana Prisons Service, Very Rev. D.S.P. Anthony Brown, the edifice was constructed through contributions by members of the Church such as collections, levies tithes, harvests and individual donations.
The 3 Self-contain 5-bedroom Residence contains an office, paneled kitchen, hall and a dining corridor.
Conducting guest round after the commissioning, the Minister of the Church, Rev. Isaac Nana Sam expressed appreciation to the members of the Church, the Bishop of the Cape Coast Diocese of the Methodist Church, Rt. Rev. Ebenezer Abaka-Wilson, the Chiefs, Elders and people of the town for their contribution to the project in diverse ways, both in cash and in kind.
Before the construction of the new Mission House, the Church used about a jubilee-old Manse located in the heart of the town as accommodation for its Ministers.
