Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam Assembly improves revenue mobilisation

Ajumako (CR), Dec. 19, GNA – Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam District Assembly realised 27,545 Ghana cedis in revenue by the end of September this year, as against 17,000 Ghana cedis within the same period last year. Mr Kenneth Obempong, Ajumako-Enyan-Essiam District Chief Executive announced this at the first Ordinary Meeting of the Third Session of the Assembly at Ajumako on Thursday.

He said efforts would be made to improve revenue mobilisation to undertake more development projects to improve the living standards of the people. Mr Obempong said about 55,132 clients were registered under the National Health Insurance Scheme by the end of October this year and realised 29,669,00 as premium and an expenditure of 19,930 Ghana cedis. He said it paid 349,799 Ghana cedis to health service providers on 40,988 clients within the period. 19 Dec. 08
