Aisha Huang was an armed robber – Joseph Yammin

Former Deputy Ashanti Regional Minister, Joseph Yammin alleged that ‘galamsey queen’, Asia Huang was also into armed robbery.

He made this allegation while speaking on Kumasi-based Abusua FM.

According to Yammin, the ‘galamsey queen’s’ activities in Ghana traversed beyond illegal mining to other criminals activities.

He indicated that Asia’s activities went beyond illegal mining to include armed robbery adding that she had the backing of some top security officials.

“Asia’s activities went as far as robbery and she did all these with the active support of some security operatives and there was even a time we planned secret operation on her,” he revealed.

He also revealed that there are times Asia could sponsor raids of concessions owned by other Chinese national and take over from them when they are gone.

“There are times Asia Huang could sponsor raids against mining concessions of other Chinese illegal miners after which she will secretly take over their mining machinery.”

He therefore mentioned that if the county wants to deal very well with Asia her files with the BNI should be revisited.

“So if they really want to deal seriously with the Chinese woman, they should go the BNI and revisit her records, there are more evidence against her.”
