AIJC given accreditation

Accra, June 15, GNA – The African Institute of Journalism and Communication (AIJC) has been given accreditation by the National Accreditation Board.

A statement issued by the AIJC on Monday and signed by Mr Ato Amoaning-Annan, Acting Director of the Institute, said the decision was taken at the Board’s Accreditation Committee Meeting on May 31, this year.

The AIJC’s status as a tertiary institution officially takes effect from September 1, this year.

Mr Kojo Yankah, President and Founder of the Institute, said: “the Institute is seeking affiliation with the University of Ghana, Legon, to offer degree courses in addition to its diploma and certificate programmes”.
