Ahmadiyyas hold conference at Techiman

Techiman (B/A), Dec 1,GNA- A two-day Annual Regional Conference of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission opened at Techiman on Monday. The Conference, under the theme “(Taqwa) the fear of God, an essential ingredient for the physical, moral and spiritual progress of man”, is being attended by over 850 delegates from the region.

Opening the conference, Maulvi Yusuf Ben Salih, Brong-Ahafo Regional Missionary, called on Ahmadis to pure-hearted and discard personal jealousies and hatred, since salvation could be attained through pure-heart.

Maulvi Salih indicated that the problem of mankind has increased because of bad deeds, stressing that the success of any individual or nation depended on righteousness.

Osofo Abubakar Ishaque, Techiman Circuit Missionary speaking on the “Importance of One-Sixteenth” explained that one-sixteenth monthly dues enhances the wealth of those who contribute part of their wealth to the works of Allah.

Mr Unas Owusu, Brong-Ahafo Regional President of the Mission and Director of UNUEASCO, who presided, appealed to Muslims to learn to forgive others in order to also receive pardon from Allah. Mr Owusu asked Muslims to bury their differences and be truthful as Islam.
